Documentation for strategy configuration, testing, simulation, and account workflows
Investfly provides infrastructure and tools for users to configure, test, and operate their own automated trading strategies. Available market data and research tools vary by subscription, provider, and entitlement.
Users can configure rules with the visual workflow or write supported Python strategy code. You choose or adopt every security, universe, condition, direction, sizing rule, allocation, exit, and risk control; Investfly does not select investments or recommend a strategy.
Historical backtests are hypothetical, and virtual portfolios are simulations. Neither represents actual trading or predicts future performance. Live use requires an eligible account, applicable provider and market-data permissions, review of all strategy inputs, and authorization by the account owner.
Investfly is intended for self-directed users who want tools for configuring and monitoring their own rules. It is not a registered investment adviser, robo-adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary, and it does not provide personalized investment advice.
The platform can evaluate user-selected conditions and, when separately authorized, submit supported orders through an eligible account. Automated orders remain subject to market, data, system, and provider risks.
Investfly is not designed for high-frequency trading and does not guarantee evaluation or order-submission latency. Data, system, network, and provider delays can affect every workflow.
Investfly offers educational simulation tools for participating academic programs. Instructors can review student activity and hypothetical results. Simulated trading does not involve real capital, but it cannot reproduce all conditions, costs, or risks of live trading.
